not just another sunday
there's a season around the corner
that this story will be revealed
she came into my life
when I thought I could never feel...
maybe I was too cynical
or just wasn't inclined
so many people are fine with being someone else
but she doesn't have any trouble being herself
every day is better
than the one before
and all the credit
goes to the Lord
no shadow falls on Main Street
when we walk hand in hand
I could listen to you talk forever
hanging on ever word
have I ever been to this place?
you weren't here, so I won't say
when you're not here, it's not the same
the notes of all the greatest songs
it's funny how we try to sing along
and I don't want to forget
how this feels
