f o c u s
I stared while the minutes passed
and I couldn't believe where I was
she couldn't help but smile
when I delivered a misplaced word
fear is freezing my thoughts...
this is progress
the long drives in the dark
when Tuesday always seems to last forever
and Wednesday has been three days apart
no one should be distracted
but sometimes I just can't sleep
it's as if the entire world came over to meet me
and I left without the keys
this is never an easy thing to do
and it's more about the uncertainty
than anything about me and you
the Lord told us not to worry
and He told me to trust His plan
I pray that His will guides me
and that I understand
