the signposts seem small
as they countdown across I-75
I'm starting to memorize the colors
of the different exits as I pass by
these tiny moments make up the memories
of days I can never forget
walking hand in hand in Six Mile Cypress
what has happened, how can this be
when she smiles it raises me
the calmest correction
on the brightest day
when no one can detect His mercy
and all we do is pray
His greatest gifts are surprising
I can't believe this happened
that this happened to me
